Joe Hofmeister, Principal
Joe is an experienced medical device development and commercialization executive. Upon completing an MBA in Marketing, he began a career that included experience in market research, international sales, business development, product management and general management. He has executed successfully in large, global medical device companies, (e.g. Pfizer, Coloplast) as well as in innovative medtech startups, (e.g. Shepherd Medical, Cerovations). Joe also served as the licensing manager for the University of Minnesota’s Office for Technology Commercialization, where he was responsible for licensing all medical device innovations conceived of by U of MN researchers. Together with two partners, he co-founded Cerovations, LLC a medical device company focused on innovations serving the neurocritical care field.
